Ines Caloisi develops frameworks for responsible innovation in a changing world

Focus

01

European Cooperation and Project Ecosystems

European cooperation is more than a funding framework. I see projects as ecosystems where institutions, organisations and people bring different perspectives together to address shared challenges. My work focuses on turning this diversity into meaningful collaboration, sustainable networks and outcomes that can continue beyond individual projects.

02

Artificial Intelligence and Societal Implications

Artificial intelligence is transforming not only what we can do, but how we think, decide and take responsibility. I explore its impact on human agency, learning and organisations, with particular attention to the boundaries between technological delegation and human responsibility.

03

Entrepreneurship as a Process of Transformation

I approach entrepreneurship as a process of transformation rather than simply business creation. It is the capacity to recognise possibilities, connect knowledge and people, and translate ideas into sustainable structures capable of generating social and economic value.

04

Female Leadership within Socio-Economic Systems

Female leadership cannot be understood independently of the systems in which it develops. I explore how women exercise agency, create organisations and reshape established models of leadership, with particular attention to the relationship between equality, entrepreneurship and socio-economic transformation.

05

Doctoral Research
My doctoral research brings these trajectories together through the study of Responsibility Culture, Artificial Intelligence and Gender Equality. I investigate how human agency and responsibility can be preserved and strengthened as AI increasingly mediates decisions, learning and organisational processes, connecting theoretical inquiry with real-world contexts.

06

Research & Publications
Research is an essential part of my work. I develop papers and conceptual contributions at the intersection of artificial intelligence, responsibility, gender equality, leadership and social transformation. My publications document the evolution of this research and its dialogue with academic and professional contexts.

APPROACH

Understanding complexity is the starting point of my work.

I explore how people, organisations and institutions respond to complex and evolving challenges. By identifying the underlying dynamics that shape these environments, I help transform complexity into coherent strategies, collaborative initiatives and research-informed frameworks.

My work combines analytical thinking with practical design. Rather than applying existing models uncritically, I examine their assumptions, recognise their limitations and, when needed, contribute to developing new conceptual approaches that better reflect emerging realities.

I work across disciplines because today’s challenges rarely belong to a single field. Whether in research, European cooperation or innovation, my aim is to build bridges between ideas and implementation, ensuring that knowledge can inform meaningful and lasting change.

PRACTICE

My activity develops between practice and research

Alongside my work in European projects and initiatives, I am currently a PhD
candidate at the University of Málaga, focusing on the relationship between
artificial intelligence, female entrepreneurship and social transformation in Europe.

I operate across different European environments, engaging with organisations,
institutions and networks. My work evolves through projects, collaborations and
initiatives developed in diverse institutional and cultural contexts.

Existing systems and emerging ones

The objective is not only to operate within current frameworks, but to understand
their structure and contribute to their evolution.

VISION

Learning expands competence. Reflection expands awareness. Responsibility transforms both into action.

We live in a time when the pace of innovation often exceeds our ability to understand its consequences. Artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, new models of leadership, and profound social transformations are reshaping the way we live, work, and make decisions.

I believe that genuine progress cannot be measured solely by economic growth, efficiency, or technological advancement. Progress becomes meaningful only when it contributes to building a more responsible society.

For this reason, my work lies at the intersection of research, education, international cooperation, and innovation. Every initiative I develop is driven by the conviction that lasting change is not created by regulations alone, but by the cultures we build.

Throughout my career, I have designed European projects, collaborated with universities, public institutions, businesses, and international organisations, and contributed to the development of transnational cooperation networks. Although these activities span different fields, they share a common purpose: generating knowledge that creates meaningful societal impact.

This vision inspired the development of the Responsibility Culture (RESC) Framework, an interdisciplinary perspective that moves beyond traditional concepts of compliance, accountability, and legal responsibility. Instead, it understands responsibility as a cultural capability that can be cultivated by individuals, organisations, institutions, and societies.

I believe that research, education, and innovation should not only solve problems; they should help people develop the ability to think critically, make conscious decisions, understand the consequences of their actions, and build trust within their communities.

For me, lifelong learning is not merely a path to professional development; it is a responsibility towards ourselves and society. Every new competence expands our ability to understand the world, engage with diverse perspectives, and make more informed decisions. Learning is a continuous process of broadening the boundaries of our knowledge, our awareness, and ultimately, our responsibility.

Artificial intelligence represents one of the greatest opportunities of our time, but only when it remains a tool that serves humanity. Technology should never replace human judgement, ethics, or responsibility; rather, it should strengthen them through transparency, inclusion, and respect for human dignity.

My work continues to evolve, but its direction remains constant: contributing to a culture of responsibility that makes innovation more human, leadership more authentic, international cooperation more effective, and education a lifelong commitment to understanding the world and improving it.

RESEARCH

My research emerges from the intersection between an inner inquiry into meaning and human experience and a scientific investigation of social transformation in Europe.

The reflective and spiritual dimension — understood as an exploration of identity,
purpose, and the role of individuals in society — represents the starting point from
which research questions are shaped. On this basis, my work develops within a
scientific and applied framework, focusing on the intersection between artificial
intelligence, female entrepreneurship, and societal change.

In particular, I explore:

The research adopts a comparative European perspective (Italy, Spain, Belgium,
Estonia) and combines qualitative methods, project-based experimentation, and policy
analysis. The overall objective is to contribute to models of innovation that are ethically
grounded, inclusive, and centred on human experience.
